Sneaker Paper Pigeon, or Snepapi (pronounced SNEE – PAY – PEE ),  is where I write about design research, design thinking and product development, and anything else I feel like. I write here to refine ideas and think “out loud”, and to connect to others.

The origin of the name is a mix of two items and one bird that have symbolic meaning.

Sneaker represents the style,  innovation, culture, and entrepreneurial spirit found in the cities.

Paper is where pools of knowledge come together with art, mixing paints with inked words.

Pigeon is a proletariat type of bird with a noble history and undervalued contribution. Pigeons were WWII heroes and now considered by many as a flying rats. Some look healthy and puffy and others look down-and-out with a dipped-in-an-oil-spill look.  Humans are the same. My thesis: pigeons symbolize humanity.
